Also known as Dog Daisy or Moon Daisy, Ox-eye Daisy is a clump forming plant with numerous big white daisy flowers.
Each one has a yellow centre which is made up of many small flowers which provide nectar for pollinators such as bees, hoverflies and butterflies.
Flowers mainly in June, July and August but occasionally outside of these months.
Ox-eye daisy attracts / provides food for the following creatures:
- Soldier beetles (aphid eaters)
- hoverflies
- Small solitary bees
